- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪My husband went to see him about a gastric bypass. We have been waiting for over a year, jumping through all the medical hoops and clearances from this doctor's orders. His staff is rude, makes mistakes that cost the patient time and money, and lies about facts that we know to be untrue "we are waiting for this piece of information".(etc) Getting the office to acknowledge facts about returning calls, leaving untold messages, and moving the process along have all been in vain. The monies DEMANDED upfront have been paid, and it is okay if only he would continue to do his part. I warned my husband about his office. I am an R.N. in the Operating Room in one of the hospitals where he has previleges. He has no friendly demeanor, and we are constantly interrupted by his office's phone calls. He is an adequate surgeon, but the rest of the dealings are very difficult. Why are we going through this? ... he is the only surgeon in Bay County Florida who does this procedure, and is the only one that the insurance will accomodate. I would not recommend him for surgery unless he was on call for emergency only.October 07, 2017by A Google User
